Some years ago, a man sat across from me who had spent twenty years in a sober profession. He said: "I feel that I can help people. But I don't know how to walk this path." It was not a career wish. It was a calling he could no longer ignore.
I encounter moments like this often. As a guardian of Andean energy medicine, I want to show you what this path concretely looks like — without mystification, without promises, but with clarity. What an energy healer does Energy healers work with the invisible dimensions of life — the energetic forces that underlie everything. They support people in releasing blocked energy, healing inner wounds, and restoring vitality.
The methods come from various traditions: touch, rituals, ancestor work, ceremonies, meditation. In the Q'ero tradition in which I am rooted, practitioners learn to read, cleanse, and return to harmony the energy field of a person — the Poqpo. Step 1 — Your own healing first Before you guide others, walk your own path. This does not mean becoming "perfect" — that is never the goal.
It means developing a continuous willingness to look at yourself honestly. Those who skip this step unconsciously transfer their own unresolved material onto the people who trust them. This is the most common source of harm in this work. And it is preventable.
Step 2 — Choose a solid training Workshops alone do not make a healer. What is needed is a structured path that holds over months: Theoretical foundations, so you understand what you are doing. Practical techniques, with real application. Guidance from an experienced teacher.
Space for personal integration between steps. If any one of these elements is missing, something essential is missing. Step 3 — Practice with real people Theory does not make a healer. Only the encounter with real people who give real feedback shapes the practice.
Good training programs integrate this from the start — not as an appendix, but as the core. The training I lead My program, Andean Energy Medicine, lasts nine months. In that time, theory and practice merge — Andean energy medicine, rituals, and ancestor work combine with the personal development of each participant. The training runs online and is accessible to people in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and beyond.
If you feel this call Then I invite you to look more closely. A first one-on-one session can be a good test — before committing to a longer path. And if the path keeps calling, the training is waiting. You do not have to decide everything at once.
You only need to see the next step.
